Create an account and open your dashboard
Open the VPNAudio account page and follow the instructions to choose a username and password. No email address is required, so save your login details somewhere secure. You’ll need them to sign in on other devices, check your plan, or get your subscription. Before submitting the account form, check your entries, especially for extra spaces or differences in capitalization.
Once you’re in the dashboard, confirm that it shows the account you just created, then locate the account overview, plans, and downloads sections. The marketing site explains pricing and how the service works; the dashboard handles orders, clients, and subscription delivery. You can leave this guide open in another browser tab and return after completing the steps in your dashboard.
Already have an account? Use the sign-in page instead of creating another one. Use your own account for the next steps so your plan status, data usage, and subscription access stay together. For now, just make sure you can open the dashboard; you don’t need to enter any server details in your system settings.
Choose a plan and review your order
Once your account is ready, open the plans section in your dashboard and compare monthly subscriptions with data packages. Monthly plans include ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB; data resets monthly on your start date. Data packages cost ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, or ¥658/3000GB and never expire. Compare both the billing terms and data allowance, not just the price.
For your first plan, think about how you’ll use it: browsing, collaboration tools, and extended video streaming can all require different amounts of data. If you’re unsure, review plan pricing and comparisons before choosing in your dashboard. All plans support unlimited simultaneous connections, but data is not unlimited. Keep an eye on your remaining data when using multiple devices.
When you’re ready, review the plan name, amount due, and billing terms on the order confirmation page. Then choose Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT as instructed. After payment, return to the dashboard to check the order status; a closed payment page doesn’t confirm that your plan is active. If the status hasn’t updated yet, check the payment result and dashboard messages before submitting the same order again.
VPNAudio offers a 30-day money-back guarantee; see the refund policy for how to request a refund. If you upgrade mid-cycle, the price difference is converted into remaining days; an upgrade does not automatically start a full new billing period. Once your order is complete and the plan shows as active in your dashboard, continue to get your subscription. This makes it easier to check whether the import works as expected.
Get your subscription from the account overview
Return to the account overview in your dashboard. Check your current plan and data allowance, then find the subscription section. Think of the subscription as the link your client uses to retrieve server configurations. Having a plan on your account doesn’t automatically add servers to your device; you also need to import the subscription into your client.
If the dashboard offers a one-click import for your client, you can use it. Your browser may ask whether to open an installed app. Check that it’s the client you intend to use before allowing it to open. If you haven’t installed a client yet, follow the next section first, then come back here. Don’t keep clicking import before installing the app, and don’t assume the subscription is invalid just because the browser doesn’t switch to another app.
To import by copying a link, use the subscription copy option in the dashboard, then choose the client’s option to import from a link. Copy the full subscription content—not the dashboard URL in your browser’s address bar. After pasting it, check for extra spaces at the beginning or end, save, and wait for the client to load the configuration. When a list of regions or servers appears, the client has read the configuration; you’re usually not connected yet.
Import the client for your platform
Sign in to your dashboard and open the downloads section to get the VPNAudio client for your device. The client reads your subscription, lists available servers, and connects without requiring you to enter server details one by one. Windows, macOS, Android, and Linux clients are available after you sign in; get your subscription from the dashboard as well. iOS has different access requirements, explained below.
Check your device’s operating system before choosing a download. Don’t use a file intended for another platform. This page doesn’t provide client installers or direct subscription links; get both from your dashboard. Once installation is complete, open the client and make sure you can reach its main screen before importing. If the dashboard offers one-click import, follow its instructions first.
Windows: Import from the configuration or subscription menu
On Windows, download and install the desktop client provided in your dashboard. When you open it for the first time, look for configuration or subscription management, then choose an option such as Add Subscription or Import from Link. Paste the subscription you copied from the dashboard. If the client asks for a display name, choose one that helps you identify the configuration; don’t enter your password there.
Save the configuration and update or refresh it. Once the server list appears, select the configuration you just added. If you have other proxy tools installed, stop any connections you don’t need so multiple tools don’t compete to manage your network. After importing, leave advanced settings alone for now and keep the client’s default setup. You can verify the connection next.
macOS: Check the configuration before connecting
On macOS, use the desktop client provided in your dashboard and follow the system prompts to install and open it. Import options are usually in the main window’s configuration section or in the subscription menu of a menu bar app. The exact location may vary, but you’re looking to add a remote subscription configuration. Paste the subscription from your dashboard into the link field, save, and refresh. Then make sure the selected configuration shows available servers.
Importing a configuration and granting network permissions are separate steps. If macOS asks for authorization when you start a connection, make sure the prompt comes from the client you’re using, then follow its instructions. If the window is closed but the app icon is still in the menu bar, open the client from there to check its status; there’s no need to reinstall. Permission settings vary by system version, so follow the prompts shown on your device.
Android: Allow the VPN connection after importing
On Android, get the appropriate client from the downloads section of your dashboard. During installation, check the source and app details when prompted. Open the client, go to its configuration or subscription page, and choose the option to add a configuration from a link. Paste your subscription and save it. If one-click import from your browser opens the client, check that it’s the intended app before confirming. Then make sure the server list has loaded.
When you connect, Android may show a system prompt asking you to allow a VPN connection. This grants the client permission to manage network traffic; it doesn’t create another account. Confirm the app and allow the connection, then return to the client to check its status. If it works in the foreground but disconnects when you switch apps, check the system’s background activity restrictions for the client before removing the subscription.
iOS: Get the client and add a configuration as instructed in your dashboard
Get the iOS client through the App Store link provided in your dashboard. The link is available only to accounts with an active, unexpired plan. If the dashboard asks you to check your plan status, return to the account overview. The iOS access requirements differ from the sign-in-to-download process on other platforms. Follow the links and installation instructions shown in your dashboard.
After installing and opening the client, use the import option provided in your dashboard, or add the subscription link from the client’s subscription or configuration section. When you connect for the first time, iOS may ask you to allow a VPN configuration and confirm it with the system. Once authorized, return to the client, select a server, and connect. The status icon in the system bar only indicates that a network configuration is active; you’ll need to test access to your destination service in the next step.
Linux is also supported, and you can get its client from your dashboard. For more platform-specific steps, routing modes, or configuration maintenance, see the complete user guide. For your first setup, keep to the basic steps rather than exploring every advanced feature at once.
Connect to a server and check that it works
Return to the client and make sure the subscription configuration you just imported is selected. Choose a region from the server list and connect. For the initial test, stick to one server: first check whether the client reports a successful connection, then open a browser and visit the site you want to use. Don’t change regions and routing modes at the same time; otherwise, even if it works, it will be hard to tell which change made the difference.
Test the connection with the services you actually use: check that a webpage opens, the sign-in page loads properly, and the app can perform the task you need. The client’s connection status doesn’t guarantee that a service will accept your account’s region. AI tools and streaming services may also be affected by account region or platform policies. If only one service is unavailable, check its error message before assuming the entire subscription has stopped working.
If no websites load, disconnect the client and check that your usual network connection works. Once it does, make sure the subscription can refresh, a server is selected, system permissions are granted, and no other proxy tool is running. Change one thing at a time, then repeat the same test. For server types and region selection, see the server guide. For common errors and troubleshooting, see the FAQ.
Once the connection works, keep the current configuration; you don’t need to import your subscription every time. Check your plan status, remaining data, and subscription updates in the dashboard from time to time. Monthly plan data resets on your start date; data packages never expire and remain available until used. To use another device, sign in to the same account, get the client and subscription for that device, and follow the same steps. Simultaneous connections are unlimited.
If you still can’t connect after following these steps, open a support ticket in your dashboard. Include your device’s operating system, the error shown in the client, the affected service, and the checks you’ve already tried. Before sharing a screenshot, hide your subscription link and sensitive account details. A clear description of the problem is more useful than repeatedly reinstalling the client. For more in-depth maintenance and troubleshooting, see the beginner-to-advanced guide.
